When I started leasing Las Vegas shopping centers in the fall of 1990, I did so with a mullet, a white Camaro and a phone book for cold calling. Since then, I’ve leased, sold and developed retail real estate, and learned plenty of lessons along the way. Some of them were hard, and others were harder.
